MeroWings® International, based in Stuttgart southern Germany, has been growing steadily since the launch of its first collection, and up until now its flagship products, the internationally patented MeroWings (Wings) cushions, in late 2005.


The Hatching of the first MeroWings® Series the “Wings” Cushions


The idea behind the Wings was to combine the roles of several cushions: an “All-round” cushion of sorts in both shape and application. Cushioning you could literally sink into and feel snugly held. Cushions which could adapt to the backdrop, thus making unusable sofa corners comfortable by providing a soft buffer on all sides, even down to a pair of adjustable armrests. The first model, the MeroWings Classic, is the largest of the Wings collection and the ultimate lounge cushion fulfilled all these prerequisites. Inspired by Mother Nature, after all, birds’ wings are perfectly designed to curl around their owners; the MeroWings Classic most closely resembles its feathered counterparts. The next models to fly out of the nest, Joy and Grace, were designed to be used in combination with Classic to provide top to toe cushioning or enjoyed alone; as a support for the head, shoulders, lower back and arms depending on how used. The latest addition, MeroWings Travel, has made the Wings collection truly mobile.

Market Development and new Products Lines


The MeroWings Wings collection has successfully established itself on the international market. MeroWings the company has also proved to be a reliable partner to its national and international resellers.  Resellers include a variety of shops and high quality catalogues.

In 2009, MeroWings launched three new collections, Forest, Robes and Trays at the Trade Show, Tendence, in Frankfurt. Founder


Meena Valail-Dieter, designer and founder of MeroWings® International GmbH & Co KG, was born in London and gained an Honours Degree from the University of London. Before founding the company, she worked for many years in Industry in the area of product management and international market development.
