The launch and creation of the MeroWings® Forest collection served as the impulse to realise one of MeroWings long standing goals; to support initiatives that protect our environment. 

A contribution of 5% of the proceeds of all sales from the Forest collection goes towards reforestation projects managed by the environmental organisation OroVerde www.oroverde.de. In the same fashion, our retail and catalogue customers also contribute a portion of their profits of the Forest collection through MeroWings® to this initiative.

Our first project is the Guatemalan rain forest, where the much needed investment goes towards; the prevention of illegal deforestation, protection of the wildlife, reforestation and the collaboration with local communities to combat the underlying poverty with sustainable development alternatives.
